STAT-USA Privacy Policy
This is how we will handle information we learn about you when you contact STAT-USA.
If you access one of our STAT-USA on-line services, we only collect information from those visitors who are subscribers and have a STAT-USA username. When a user "logs onto" our site, we collect information about that user's session:
We collect and store only the following information about you: the IP address from which you access the Internet; the date and time you access our site; the address of the page immediately before you accessed a STAT-USA site; and your STAT-USA username. We use this information to measure the number of users to the different sections of our site and to refine and better target our information for our user community.
In subscribing to one or more of our services, you provided personal identifying information. This information is retained in secure storage for internal use in maintaining your account. If you charged your subscription fee using a credit card, we submit your account number to a U.S. Government approved financial institution for payment authorization. Once payment is approved, we destroy the record containing your credit card number.
You may also decide to send us personal identifying information. For example, you may use electronic mail to inquire about one of our services or to request technical assistance. We maintain these communications containing personal information for internal marketing purposes and to refine and better target our information for our user community.
We want to be very clear: We will not obtain personal identifying information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us.
